I'm Xue, hailing from the aromatic streets of Chongqing, China, known for its pervasive spicy hot pot aroma. Alongside me is Sun, a native of Singapore, renowned as The Garden City.
Our paths converged in Beijing, where as neighbors, we evolved into fast friends through shared moments walking our dogs. Sun, despite her bustling banking career, intrigued me with her passion for rescuing and caring for dogs from diverse corners of the world.
Inspired by Sun's advocacy, we delved into volunteering for animal rescues and fundraising. A turning point occurred during a charity sale, where we donated hand-crafted cold process soaps.
The response was overwhelming, particularly from a mother whose child struggled with skin allergies. Her heartfelt story resonated deeply with us, prompting Sun to share, "I initially crafted cold process soaps for my skin issues, never anticipating the widespread need. The joy of realizing we could help others with similar concerns was exhilarating. We envisioned sharing our quality products, aiding people with skin problems, raising awareness for animal rescues, and contributing proceeds to support the cause."
Embarking on Entrepreneurial
Ventures…With a bold and joyous spirit, we officially launched Wishbone on January 1, 2015, bidding farewell to our conventional jobs. Named after a Thai-rescued puppy Sun affectionately named Wishbone, our venture started in Sun's petite kitchen. Our mission was clear: deliver exceptional, all-natural, environmentally friendly soaps with innovative designs, ensuring our customers experience top-notch quality.
Our persistence
From our very first soap, we've been all about delivering a skin-loving experience. No chemicals, no animal fat – just pure goodness. Our journey led us to explore nature's best, from essential oils to mineral mud, Chinese herbs, and the richness of avocados. Each soap formula is a carefully crafted blend, maximizing the unique benefits of our top-notch raw ingredients.
Starting with four facial care products, we expanded our league to cover all skin types – oily, dry, and acne-prone. Our lineup grew to include hair care, all-natural herbal insect repellent, and the HOME series for kitchen and clothing.
